Linchpin was retained as the California State Parks NSC On-Call Historic Structural Engineer to provide peer review and construction administration for the Bridgeport Covered Bridge. The bridge is a 210 feet long and is the longest-span wooden bridge that still exists in the world. The original bridge is currently stabilized and has numerous issues and failures that need to be addressed. Linchpin is teaming with the original rehabilitation engineer, Bueller, and the original peer-review engineer, Krakower. The project began in Spring of 2019 and will ensure the bridge to be experienced and enjoyed by future generations.
